Hardwood flooring on PT joists

I'm planning to install oak T&G porch flooring over 2x10 PT joists spaced 16" OC. I'm not planning to install a subfloor (it's a porch after all). Should I use construction adhesive? I'm planning to rent a hardwood flooring nailer, and use stainless steel nails that are compatible with the treated lumber. Any thoughts on this approach?
