Suburban PTAC and Nest

Hello! Resurrecting an old post from 2011: http://www.doityourself.com/forum/thermostatic-controls/479774-help-installing-thermostat-line.html I have exactly the same units (Suburban Dynaline DL3-1622 & DL3-1220) and I want to do exactly the same thing: Wire a Nest thermostat in. The only difference is that I want two thermostats for the two units (one each) whereas the original poster wanted to connect the two units to one thermostat. I see exactly the same terminals and dip switches, but the guy never wrote back to say if it worked! What I understood was: He would connect the requisite four wires to the terminals on the board. He would run that cable to where he wanted the Nest thermostat to be, and install the thermostat to Nest's instructions. Lastly, he would flip those two dip-switches, and be in remote thermostat glory.

  1. This guide is really helpful and explaining a lot more about nest thermostat. The utility bill must be cut off by deploying a nest thermostat. Heating and Cooling York
