moving lineset- how fragile?

My AC lineset is rubbing some framing members in a few spots and the insulation is damaged. I will need to pull on it a bit to get it off the rubbing spots and to fix the insulation. I was concerned about the stress on it.

How fragile is an AC lineset? And any tips on how to isolate it from rubbing against stuff would be appreciated.
